KICKBACK HIGHLIGHT VIDEO

On Saturday, March 24, at Laney College in Oakland,  Kick’n it For a Cause will host “The Kickback“, an interactive community “Shoeraiser” event that will feature special guest appearances by members of the Golden State Warriors and a performance by Mistah Fab. The community is asked to bring a pair of new or gently used sneakers to contribute to the mission of raising 100,000 sneakers and $100,000 to the Kick’n It For a Cause: Cease Fire campaign.

The campaign’s mission is to prevent the spread of deadly diseases through contaminated soil due to lack of proper footwear in the African nations of The Congo, Uganda, Sudan and Somalia. Last year, the successful campaign raised 30,000 sneakers. A portion of the sneakers raised on Saturday will also go to underserved kids in the Bay Area.

General Admission for this event is $20 and VIP is $50. Guests will receive 1/2 off general admission by donating 2 pair of new or gently worn sneakers. Proceeds from this event will go to Kick’n It For a Cause (501c3).
